Overview

EXL wanted their new Digital Intelligence Lab in London to be a flexible space for high-level client meetings, innovation workshops, and presentations. They asked DVSI to help design and install an audiovisual setup that would make collaboration easy, professional, and impressive.

Goals

  • Make it simple for anyone to share content wirelessly.

  • Support different ways of presenting and meeting, from small discussions to big group briefings.

  • Keep the space clean and uncluttered with equipment out of sight.

  • Make controlling everything, from screens to lighting, straightforward and intuitive.

What We Did

We focused on creating an easy-to-use, flexible environment with high-quality visuals and audio.

Integrated Displays

A large 98” main screen on the front wall for big presentations. Two 65” side screens to expand the viewing area. Two 55” mobile screens on trolleys that can be moved wherever they’re needed for smaller breakout sessions. All screens are connected and centrally controlled, making it easy to share content from different sources.

Clear, Even Sound

Ceiling microphones pick up voices clearly without cluttering the table. Strategically placed speakers ensure everyone in the room hears clearly, whether it’s a video call or in-person presentation. Standalone audio conferencing options provide a simple solution for quick, no-fuss calls.

Simple Control

Everything from displays to lighting is controlled from a single wireless touch interface (an iPad). Switching between different presenters or sources is seamless and intuitive.

Wireless Sharing

Users can present from their own devices wirelessly, with support for AirPlay and Miracast, so there’s no need to mess with cables.

Lighting Integration

A flexible area for larger gatherings, leadership briefings and townhalls. Designed to support a wide range of formats and presentation styles.

Neat, Organised Setup

All the core equipment is stored in a separate rack outside the main space, keeping the room tidy and distraction-free.

Design Highlights

The main 98” display acts as the room’s focal point.

Side screens in built-in wall niches extend the usable presentation space.

Mobile screens add flexibility for breakout discussions or workshops.
