DATA VISUALISATION & OPERATIONS CENTRES

Accenture, Bangalore

Visualising data and dashboards, and ensuring that the right teams can access the right information at the right time is essential for the modern digital corporation. However often these critical data sets and 3rd party analytics tools end up stuck in silos, hidden behind complex firewalls and tight network security.

So the ability to combine and visually optimise all these different data forms on a single canvas, with complete user control and pre-authenticated access is key to unlocking operational effectiveness.

For data driven companies like Accenture, showcasing their ability to access real time business metrics and benchmark these across different industries and analytics tools in real time is also a key part of their sales proposition to clients.

DVSI helped them to build this 7.2M curved seamless LED Command Centre, which delivers software based multi-window control, pre-authorisation of dashboards, pre-loading and API graphics integration. DVSI supplied the high resolution LED, our Visualisar Canvas Control Software, the API driven UX development, plus the specialist operator furniture and multi-camera video conferencing capability.

the ELEMENTS

The Display Hardware

  • Seamless LED walls provide the perfect single large screen canvas. At 1.2mm pixel pitch, a 7.2M LED wall delivers a resolution of 5760 x 1080 (or triple desktop solution). A 4.8M wall provides dual desktop at 3840 x 1080.

  • The DVSI Operations Centre computing hardware uses high performance graphics cards for delivering super fast windowing control, and HDMI capture to mange the non-networked based sources.

User Interface Design

  • Adding to standard dashboard views, our GUI design team can build a completely unique graphics canvas using API’s to incorporate feeds from 3rd party services or data widgets.

  • The Visualisar layouts are controlled via a tablet. The tablet allows the user to select any combination of on-screen windows, to move them around and pinch & zoom sizing. The tablet allows for different format presets to be triggered and enables wider control for video conferencing and lighting etc…

Accessories

  • It is important to match the Operations Centre with the right operator consoles, especially designed for working between a local desktop display and the main Canvas. Plus specialist 24/7 ergonomic chairs to protect against long working hours.

  • DVSI builds video conferencing support, with multi-camera control and high quality audio pick up and playback, into its Operations Centres.

Visualisar Software

  • Visualisar is a powerful software application specifically designed for Operations Centre applications. With no need for multiple input PCs and complex sigual switching it uses a CMS control tool to select and pre-authenticate any source directly across the network. It mixes in other live sources via HDMI capture cards

  • The Visualisar CMS is hosted on the client’s network, which means the Operations Centre data can be made accessible from any other location or remote PC. This means that multiple sites can work on the same platform, or data can be quickly accessed in emergency War Rooms, and remote teams can easily access the same data formats.
