On-boarding, Training & Team Building

Accenture, Bangalore

With the challenges of a fast growing workforce and evolving hybrid workplace, we helped Accenture showcase their strong commitment to employee development by building a dedicated learning and training facility in their Bangalore HQ.

This hugely successful centre sees both new joiner and employee teams invited to spend half a day immersing themselves in Accenture’s wealth of digital training materials, experiencing the latest Haptic & Mixed Reality training tools and competing to top the leader board in a customized TV-studio style interactive game.

Built around a range of digital experiences designed, programmed and installed by DVSI; the Learning Centre concept is now expanding to other geographies and has become an essential element in showcasing their employee development focus to clients.

the EXPERIENCES

The Learning Journey Tunnel

  • As users approach the facility they are lead down a corridor that tells of story of man’s learning journey, the evolution of knowledge and how learning through our lives is key to a successful career.

  • A gallery of portrait 65” displays, with content triggered at each stop by motion sensors. Localised audio tells the story with directional speakers. The content is a 2 minute animated reel, created by DVSI from a client provided script and recorded by professional voice actors in different accents.

Leadership Learning Game

  • A stylised interactive game, built in the style of TV’s ‘Millionaire’, where users are asked 15 questions on a selected topic. Each topic is custom created to represent a relevant agenda (eg the host company, their industry sector, their clients etc..). Players answer multiple choice questions, phone-a-friend, pay 50/50 etc.. to reach the top of Leadership challenge.

  • The game has various forms, but in this environment it is the full ‘studio’ deployment - with controlled lighting, audio and dual screen se up. The user sits in ‘the chair’ and plays the game on an interactive 32” display, the viewers watch on a large stretch display. The game is an animated graphical experience with voice over host. The application CMS allows the management team to quickly customise the question sets and tailor the game to each individual visit. Smaller options of single screen versions and even mobile phone deployments allow the game to be used in other use-cases.

Dynamic Feedback Capture

  • Before exiting, a large interactive wall allows attendee feedback to be captured in realtime. They respond to a simple set of questions and their written comments are stored for later analysis by the hosts.

  • The wall uses an interactive short-throw projector and a custom Q&A application with back-end data capture designe by DVSI. Questions can be easily updated using the CMS.

Immersive AR & VR Solutions

  • All across the facility are QR code tags that explain to users the features and functionality of each experience. Allowing users to access, on their own devices, augmented reality pop-ups that explain each experience. The experience is both educational and also gets users comfortable with using mixed reality technology.

  • A dedicate augmented reality application developed and hosted by the DVSI team. The app places the information in realtime on the real world environment.
