Overview
The Gujarat International Finance Tec-City - aka GIFT City - is India’s first operational greenfield smart city and international financial services hub. Designed to attract the world’s biggest corporate names with sustainable city planning, cutting edge office design and a raft of simplified tax and trading incentives. As India continues to leverage its immense growth potential, GIFT City is expected to be soon challenging Singapore and Dubai as the region’s most influential financial and business centre.
“Starting with such a clean-sheet is an attractive proposition for many of the large corporations we work with,’” comments Chris Avis, Commercial Manager for DVSI in Asia. “At GIFT City they get to by-pass many of the historical challenges faced by traditional Indian cities. For us it’s also an exciting opportunity to by-pass the past, and to really focus on re-imagining the perfect modern workspace”.
For this project DVSI was selected to design and build the AV and collaboration technology strategy for a new consulting workspace. To ensure seamless, high-tech communications in a flexible modern environment, that supports both hybrid and in-person meeting formats.

DVSI Design & Experience Approach
DVSI’s design focused on enabling intelligent collaboration through integrated AV technology, tailored to meet global enterprise standards. The solution was carefully aligned with the client’s specifications and future operational needs.
Systems were designed to be interoperable and scalable, delivering unified communication across all client-facing and internal environments. The final implementation ensured that every room, from boardroom to training space, supported high-performance video, audio, and interactive content delivery.
Results
The GIFT City office is now a benchmark for workplace technology integration in the region, reflecting the client’s leadership in digital transformation and DVSI’s expertise in creating high-performance, user-centric environments.
